Technical Unit Director
Sheheryar Haq is certified in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Project Management (Prince 2) with vast experience in M&E and Programme/Project management, spread in-between governmental, humanitarian, and private sectors (Financial) – in various local, international, and cross-border situations. While managing complex programs; collaborating with donors (DFID, GIZ, SDC, CDCS, BPRM, BHA, EU, EUD, ECHO, UN OCHA, GFFO, USAID and USAID BHA), and dealing with local or international implementing partners. He has a Master’s degree in MIS from the business school of the University of Surrey (UK), Natural Computation (AI) from the University of York (UK), and BS-IT degree from Pakistan. He has been in a key leadership role in overseeing Humanitarian and Development research-data systems, Livelihood programs, and Health (with MHPSS) projects, implemented in multiple countries (Turkey, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan). In addition to managing over 150 project third party monitoring and evaluations with i-APS, he has established M&E (frameworks, designing and enforcing SOPs) and MIS systems for multiple I/NGOs. Furthermore, he has conducted various advance technical and crosscutting studies, such as regional value chain Analysis (Olive oil, Dairy products, agricultural products, and Livestock), country-wide market and labour assessment, data-science-driven regional project-development system, and technical studies on empowerment of marginalized communities through various thematics (Gender, Governance, and Environment). Within i-APS, Sheheryar is a Director of Third Party Monitoring and Learning activities. Sheheryar is also a Manager of Technical Unit and manages the team of over 39 subject matter experst.
