Irene Petkoff has 25 years’ experience in the field of environmental management and sustainable development for global industries. She has supported companies and organizations to achieve their sustainability objectives and align their organizations to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Previously. Irene was the HSE and Sustainable Development Manager at ConocoPhillips in Venezuela and Peru. At both locations, she led the development and implementation of corporate Environment Social and Governance (ESG) policies and programs while helping to build constructive alliances with multiple stakeholders. As a trainer in her field, Irene has helped support capacity building in Kenya, Peru and Venezuela. Irene holds degrees in Environmental Studies and Microbiology from the University of Kansas, and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Planning from the Sorbonne University. She is also a Certified Coach and a PNL Certified Practitioner. She is currently serving as a TPM Coordinator at i-APS for a number of projects including verification and monitoring of humanitarian assistance programs in Venezuela.
