With Master of Science in Management of Rural Development from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) at the University of London, she has 18 years of overseas working experience in the humanitarian and development sector in several countries in South East Asia: Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and in Afghanistan and Italy. She has worked in coordination and management positions with International NGOs and in partnership with UN agencies, governments and local associations, implementing programmes funded by a wide range of donors. As such she acquired a broad and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of programme development and implementation combined with diverse technical skills including in food security, sustainable rural development, humanitarian and social protection. Chiara is currently serving as Senior Program Officer for i-APS in the Middle East, with particular focus on Yemen operations. She is responsible for operation, technical and management aspects of work, training/mentoring for ongoing evaluations and TPM projects with UNICEF and other clients and partners.
