Amina Ferati

President

Amina Ferati is the President of International Advisory, Products and Systems (i-APS), a woman-owned small business (certified 8(a) and EDWOSB) that leverages global expertise and local presence to drive positive change for organizations and communities.


With a background in law and public policy, Amina has over a decade of experience leading program strategy and institutional growth for humanitarian and development partners. At i-APS, she oversees the company's global expansion, including operations in Latin America, South America, and Africa. Amina also serves as a technical director and quality assurance advisor on i-APS contracts with USAID, USAID BHA, and United Nations entities such as WFP and UNICEF.


Amina holds a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Chemistry from East Carolina University, as well as a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. She is a registered member of the Haliwa Saponi Tribe of North Carolina and a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia.


Combining her passion for equity with social entrepreneurship, Amina works to advance community and population health and economic livelihoods through training, capacity building, relief, and development programming. Her areas of expertise include governance, global health, sexual and reproductive health, protection, and the prevention of gender-based violence and racial inequity.


Prior to i-APS, Amina led federal policy and government relations for the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum and served as a director for the VENG Group, a government relations firm in Washington, DC. She currently serves on the Board of the Society for International Development United States (SID-US).
