President

Amina Ferati serves as President of International Advisory, Products and Systems (i-APS), a woman-owned small business that leverages global expertise with local presence to transform organizations and communities into partners for change. 

i-APS is a certified 8(a) and EDWOSB. With a background in law and public policy, Amina has over a decade of experience leading program strategy and institutional growth for humanitarian and development partners. At i-APS, Amina oversees the long-term sustainability and expansion of i-APS’ global work, including overseeing i-APS expansion and registration in Latin and South America and Africa. Amina serves as a technical director and quality assurance advisor on i-APS contracts with USAID, USAID BHA, United Nations entities (WFP, and UNFPA). Amina combines her passion for equity with social entrepreneurship to advance community and population health and economic livelihoods through training, capacity building, relief, and development programming.

Previously, Amina led federal policy and government relations for the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, directing their policy portfolio and managing federal operations. She also served as director for the VENG Group, a leading government relations firm in Washington, DC. Amina has extensive experience in addressing global health, sexual and reproductive health, protection, and prevention of gender-based violence and racial equity. Amina is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She currently serves on the Board of the Society for International Development United States (SID-US).

Amina holds a B.S in Biology/ B.A. in Chemistry from East Carolina University and a J.D. from University of North Carolina School of Law. Amina is a registered member of the Haliwa Saponi Tribe of North Carolina.
