Final assessment of the EU-funded Climate Change Project, which was carried out between 2017 and 2022 and was titled “DEVCO (GCCA+) Strengthening Local Communities Resilience to Climate Change in Northern, River Nile, and Kassala States in Sudan.”

The main outcomes of the Project are that certain localities and communities are better able to restore, safeguard, and sustainably manage forests, farms, and rangelands as well as respond to early warnings; have also adopted improved coping mechanisms that are appropriate for the present and future climate as well as the available natural resources.
