End of Project Evaluation – Sustainable Peace and Resilience in Darfur

13 November 2023

Status: Completed

ZOA Sudan, with funding from the European Union Instrument Contributing to Stability and Peace (IcSP), has been implementing the multi-sectoral project β€œSustainable Peace and Resilience in Darfur (SPRD)” to contribute to building community resilience through implementing conflict resolution, natural resource management, and livelihood activities in North Darfur (rural Al Fasher and Dar el Salaam localities) and East Darfur (El Ferdous and Ed Daien localities).

πŸ“…In April 2022, i-APS was contracted to perform a final evaluation study. The purpose of the evaluation is to assess and document the impact and effectiveness of SPRD project interventions to render accountability to the donor and target communities.

Following OECD/DAC evaluation methodology, i-APS will collect quantitative as well as qualitative data covering two states; namely North Darfur and East Darfur. Moreover, a variety of data collection tools will be used. These tools include surveys with a representative sample of beneficiaries, Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with selected experts, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with small groups of beneficiaries.
